Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46-47 NIV
At Westlake, we want community to be at the heart of what we do, which is why we are passionate about seeing people be part of a Home Group. Each week, small groups of Westlakers choose to meet together in homes across the area – and in a few cases at the church or The HUB – with two simple goals: to learn from God’s Word together and spur each other on in our life and faith.
There is quite a range of groups on offer, including those catering for young adults, young parents, and young in retirement. There are men’s groups and women’s groups, and other groups whose only unifying theme is that they are made up of people from all over the world.
We know it can be a little scary stepping into a new community, but groups are nearly always open to new members, so you can be sure of being welcomed. You can even try it for a few weeks, to see if it’s right for you. (Oh, and don’t worry if you travel a lot with your work and are worried you won’t be around enough – that’s a common situation for many of the people in our home groups.)
So whether you have been in a Home Group before, or if this is a completely new experience for you, please drop us an e-mail:
We’ll help connect you with the right group. We feel confident that you won’t regret it.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – all the more as you see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV
