James writes ….

“Good Friday is perhaps the most deeply significant day for us as Christians. It’s the day when our focus should turn to the crucifixion. It’s a day to think about the reality of Jesus’ suffering, the depth of Gods love for us it reveals and the impact it should have on our loves. This Good Friday we are having a Tenebrae Service. This is a simple worship service which involves retelling and reflecting on the events of the first Good Friday.

I want to ask everyone who can make it to this service to make being there a priority. Good Friday is a day when all Christians should gather if they can to remember and give thanks for what Christ has done for them. I have taken part in several Tenebrae Services and always found them to be times of deep spiritual significance that made my celebration of Easter richer”
